CSK has decided to retain their iconic captain, MS Dhoni, using the newly modified uncapped player retention rule to retain him at a budget-friendly price of Rs 4 crore. Alongside Dhoni, the four-time champions have retained Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ravindra Jadeja, Matheesha Pathirana, and Shivam Dube.
