Comedian Munawar Faruqui, known for his appearance in BiggBoss 17 hosted by Salman Khan and lockup hosted by Kangana Ranaut, is allegedly being targeted by Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, This gang recently claimed responsibility for killing a prominent leader from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and a former minister in Maharashtra.
The situation became more serious when Lawrence Bishnoi gang attempted to harm or attack Munawar Faruqui during his visit to Delhi last month. This incident has heightened concerns about his safety. Meanwhile, law enforcement authorities are actively investigating the gang’s involvement in the murder of Baba Siddique, which occurred outside Siddique’s office in Mumbai. The authorities are trying to determine if there is a connection between this attack and other criminal activities carried out by the gang.
As per a report by India Today, during an interrogation by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Lawrence Bishnoi—who is currently in jail—disclosed a list of high-profile individuals his gang is targeting. Among the names on this list is comedian Munawar Faruqui. This revelation has led to questions about why Faruqui, who has received threats before due to the controversial nature of his stand-up comedy, is being specifically targeted by the gang.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) is investigating why the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has chosen specific people as their targets. They are trying to understand the motives behind these choices and are also working to identify any other individuals who may be on the gang’s hit list. The NIA’s investigation aims to prevent future incidents and ensure the safety of those at risk.
