NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli and Harbhajan Singh share a warm and respectful bond that transcends their cricketing careers. Despite the age difference and contrasting stages of their careers, their friendship is built on mutual admiration, shared experiences, and a deep love for the game.
Harbhajan and Kohli frequently share light-hearted exchanges on social media. Their posts often include jokes, birthday wishes, or throwback photos, showcasing their easygoing friendship.

Harbhajan has publicly praised Kohli’s leadership and batting, calling him a role model for the younger generation.
Both players share Punjabi roots, which has likely strengthened their bond. They often engage in conversations in Punjabi, adding a touch of cultural familiarity to their interactions.
Both Virat and Harbhajan are currently in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with Kohli playing for India and Harbhajan on commentating duties.
As most of the first day’s play of the third Test was washed out due to rain, a fun dance of Virat and Harbhajan went viral on social media on Saturday.
The official shared a video on their X handle in which Harbhajan tells the story behind the dance.
Harbhajan says in the video, “I was wearing a white trouser, a light pink shirt and a white jacket with pink lines, but you look at it from far, it will look white and he (Virat) said, ‘Jitender itthe aa gaya…’ (actor Jeetendra has come here) and he started dancing with steps from a popular Hindi film song. First I could not understand and then he couldn’t stop himself and came near me and did the steps again. And I said I have committed a mistake and afterwards I saw myself in the screen I realized only missing were the white leather shoes, had I worn those we would’ve failed Jeetuji.”

The bond between Virat and Harbhajan is a testament to the camaraderie among players in the Indian cricket team, where friendships often extend well beyond the boundary lines.
