Haryana Election Results 2024: BJP Secures Third Consecutive Term, Congress Gains Vote Share

In a historic win Bhartiya Janta Party emerged as victorious in Haryana election 2024. BJP secured 48 of of total 90 assembly seats and forming the government for the third consecutive time. PM Modi addressed party workers at BJP headquarters in Delhi, expressing his gratitude to the voters and emphasizing the government’s developmental agenda.

This is for the the first time in Haryana history that party has formed a government  even after completing two consecutive full terms

On the other hand congress secured 37 seats of total 90 assembly seats, they have witnessed the 11% increase in vote share compared to previous elections. The reason for congress improved performance is because of the  key leaders like former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda from the Garhi Sampla-Kiloi seat and wrestler-turned-politician Vinesh Phogat from the Julana seat, indicates a growing sentiment for change among voters.

The chief minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh is expected to meet top BJP leadership  in Delhi to discuss the strategy for upcoming term and finalize cabinet formations. . According to PTI, this meeting will also focus on post-election governance and delivering on the promises made during the campaign.

In related news, as the BJP celebrates its win in Haryana, all eyes are on the upcoming results from Jammu & Kashmir. Political analysts suggest that the BJP’s momentum in Haryana could influence voter behavior in other regions.
